PlanNet was retained by this publicly held software company with more than 4,500 employees in 70 locations worldwide to develop a strategy to consolidate more than 30 engineering data centers in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. The project evaluated real estate, facilities, network, IT architecture and operations to develop Total Cost of Ownership comparing risks and benefits of viable approaches. Recommendations included a consolidation strategy that will save the company $50M, improve efficiencies and enhance overall reliability.
